All being well we should have our online sales module running by the weekend. You will be able to buy prints and or licensed copies of most images on the site. We are just waiting for approval at the moment which should be granted later today.
I have had work published in two consecutive issues of FPME magazine. First of all I wrote an article on the art of concert photography that was published as a feature just before Christmas with a nice selection of my photos. Lastly I had one of my photos published in there that made a brilliant sale last year which was my Beach Huts photo.
I am planning to submit more work to this magazine in the future…

I just wanted to write a little bit about what is currently going on behind the scenes at NLP. I am in the process of building up the new stock library with my archive, its going to take quite awhile to complete as I have thousands of images available. The good news is that all new images will go up on the site with little delay and hence I plan to keep images.nicklewis.net as fresh as possible.
The Galleries don’t list every image, they are intended to showcase the finest images on the site and to give you a taste of what is available plus you can flick through them quite quickly. They are also a useful tool for marketing stock to potential clients which is something I am going to be taking care of myself and to build up relationships with new businesses.
I shall be continuing to market my images through Alamy, as they can reach markets that I have no hope of tapping into as an individual. I tend to export images from Lightroom both for this site and Alamy in parallel thanks to its multi-theaded architecture and speed.

If you are a keen photographer then you must check out Nfolio if you haven’t done so already. Its a growing community site where you can have your images critiqued and you can do likewise for other members. Go and check it out!
I am delighted to say that my Brother Tim is going to be making a contribution to the site. Please keep an eye on this blog, as I will soon introduce a new gallery by Tim. He might even write a thing or two on this blog too…

Last week I got my copy of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and have been playing with it all week. I have actually managed to do some serious work with it too though, honest!

I have decided that the site is ready and its now live. I am still working on building up the Galleries and stock on the system and this will take place gradually over the coming weeks and months.
