Northern Wheatear
Northern Wheatear (winter plumage) (Oenanthe oenanthe) - I spotted this one whilst walking along the coast path between Fistral Bay and Pentire head. It showed quite well and then flew away to a clifftop nest that was out of view. I used my 50-500mm lens with a beanbag perched on top of a dry stone wall to get the shot. Some other versions are available within the Gallery sectin of this site.
