I have just discovered that those clever chappies over at Facebook have added a new facility for businesses to create Facebook pages. I am in the process of creating one for Nick Lewis Photography and will announce its publication here, once its ready… Which it isn’t yet!
My latest article has just been published in FPME magazine and they’ve done a fantastic job on the design using loads of snazzy stock images and graphics. I am really pleased with the way it looks. My article is the first of a three part series which goes into some depth about the web. The first installment covers the process of starting a site and the next two go into more detail on more complex things!

Whoohay! My second life gallery is now open for business. I have deliberately opted to keep it fairly minimalistic (less is more after all!) in comparison to some of its neighbours that are absolutely stuffed full of art.
So how can you view it?
First of all you’ll need to sign up with an account on Second Life, download the client and then go to:

You can actually buy virtual versions of all of my pictures and maybe one day I will expand it further.
Head to Dorney which is in Berkshire (or is it Bucks?) to see probably hundreds of Fieldfare and a decent number of Redwing too. Park next to the Jubilee river and walk either towards Maidenhead or Windsor and you’ll see loads of these birds. My guess would be that they love this area so much because of the abundance of berries, which is also a sign of a harsh winter.
I would like to plug my brother’s new site, as he has had it re-designed and has just launched the new version. It looks very slick and tells you a lot more about his business, Handcrafted Films
Handcrafted specialise in the making of incisive documentary films and their big project of the year covers the subject of logging (and other related matters) in Indonesia. The site tells you more about this plus you can view clips too.
