Transplant Diary: 13th October

Visited my Parents for the weekend with my Wife Tina. We got out and about, did some good exercise. Ate a lovely Sunday lunch. I have my first pint, all goes well this morning at the hospital but later in the day, news comes in from the hospital, as one of the Consultants leaves a message on my answerphone…

I thought I’d re-share this shot for two reasons, one I really love this location and secondly I was mortfied to hear recently that a number of these famous trees have had to be cut down. The National Trust decided that around a dozen (maybe more) of the trees were unsafe and they had no option other than to chop them down.

…and now for something cute!

After some pretty heavy writing earlier, I decided to have a flick through some recent photographs and re-discovered some that I took back in the Summer on the one really hot day we had! We took our little niece out for the day and visited Finckley Down Farm near Andover. I couldn’t resist taking photos of these little fellas!
